Karyn Maier, PhD
Founder and Executive Coach
Karyn has extensive experience in the development and facilitation of high impact Executive Leadership and consultancy programmes.
She is noted for her work in transformational leadership with Chief Executives and their Boards of Directors as well as far reaching organisational wide development programmes.
Karyn works with international clients across the private, public and not for profit sector. In all of her work she aims to inspire and to be inspired.
Leadership Coach & Facilitator
Jo has been with Maier for over 10 years and in looking after a number of high profile clients along the way she has helped to build some of our most long-standing and valued partnerships.
With her background in training and development as Head of T&D for Vision Express UK, Jo’s innate understanding of business needs and her belief that no single solution is right for everyone means she is a natural fit for Maier.
Leadership Coach & Facilitator
Ella brings her experience in corporate and creative communications to all programmes she runs at Maier. With an MA in coaching and mentoring, and practitioner in a number of psychometrics, Ella has an impressive knowledge of adult learning theory, team psychology, and key leadership frameworks.
Her high levels of perceptiveness, awareness, and a natural ability to build trusting relationships have proven to be fundamental in creating truly effective solutions for our clients.

Guy is a fully trained Business and Personal Coach, studying for PG Certificate accredited by the University of Chester, the ICF and Association of NLP. He is also an experienced practitioner of 360-degree psychometric tools, including MBTI and Hogan.
His leadership experience includes Board roles at Bass Brewers, BBC and Victim Support; MD of Freeview. He has been instrumental in the transformation of top UK brands: Freeview, BBC Sport, Top Gear and Carling. As well as leading on complex shareholder and financial negotiations for Freeview.
Caryl is an experienced and qualified coach and facilitator and works with leadership teams and individuals to develop their skills and strengths, build their confidence and equip them with the tools they need to fulfil their individual and collective goals and ambitions. She is a Fellow of the CIPD, a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and a graduate of the Academy of Executive Coaching.
Caryl is qualified to use a range of Psychometrics including MBTI, Firo B, 16PF and SDI. Organisations and clients include Vodafone, BP, TUI UK, B&Q, Direct Line Group, Barclays, Financial Ombudsmen, Virgin Media, London College of Communication and London College of Fashion.
Lainey specialises in supporting businesses to improve performance through team and leadership development initiatives and one to one coaching. She has a wealth of international knowledge and experience of individual and team development.
With experience in Retail, Media, Leisure and Technology sectors both in a corporate capacity and as a consultant, Lainey has had extensive insight into a wide range of business cultures and diverse employee populations.
Lainey is an accredited coach through the Henley Management College and also a CIPD graduate. She is accredited in Emotional and Social Competency Intelligence (ESCI), 360 feedback, and a qualified NLP Business Practitioner and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner.
